Filem’On exchange days
We gladly invite you to the 3rd European Filem’On Exchange on the 3rd and 4th of November in Brussels.
During this two-day event, Filem’On wants to boost the production of valuable children’s films. We have scheduled independent films for children and adolescents, master classes, debates with directors, script writers and producers and networking opportunities.
Thursday November 3rd: Day of Belgian Cinema for Children and Adolescents.
We open and close the day with a series of Belgian short films for children made by production companies Les films du Nord, A Private View, Creative Conspiracy, Loupiote, Graphoui and schools La Cambre, RITCS, Haute école Albet Jacquard, etc.
There will likewise be an opportunity to discuss public funding and a master class revolving around scenario writing for Belgian film makers. If you happen to have an idea for a children’s film, feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then receive instructions about how you should pitch your idea. If you are selected you will be able to present your draft to a panel of producers, scenarists and directors that very day.
Friday November 4th: European exchange, documentaries and philanthropic cinema
Filem’on presents several big and small independent productions centering around current affairs in the presence of the directors. During a panel interview session “Lessons learned, tips ‘n tricks”, we will enter into a debate about the creation of documentaries and philanthropic cinema for children and adolescents.
These two days were made possible thanks to Creative Europe Media Desk Flanders and Screen Brussels along with the support of the German Embassy.
The planning, further details and how to register will soon be available on www.filemon.com.
