On the eve of the Persian New Year, 7-year-old Razieh has seen a goldfish in a pet store in Tehran that is bigger than the goldfish in the pond at her home. She wants the fish for the New Year’s Eve celebration. She gets her mother’s permission to buy the goldfish. Along the way, however, her little brother Ali and she encounter numerous obstacles that hinder the purchase of the fish.
