1863. Martha Jane, aka Calamity Jane, is a 12-year-old girl who is forced to grow up quickly and take care of her siblings after her father is injured during their journey to the West. However, being a girl in the patriarchal and sexist society of the 19th century is not that simple.. To get around that hurdle, Martha Jane decides to dress up as a boy. The story takes another twist when she is accused of theft and must prove her innocence. The scandal that she provokes will force her to face all the dangers of a gigantic and wild world where everything is possible!
