This lovely family film, that addresses social issues in a light-hearted manner, follows Pichku (9), a boy growing up in one of Delhi’s oldest slums, who fights against having to ‘go number 2’ in public. After failing to convince his family and others to build a toilet, Pichku and his friend Gopi make it their mission to try and get one. Winner of the Grand Prix at the Montreal Film Festival & & Kinolub Fest in Poland, the film also boasts of a terrific soundtrack by virtuoso Bollywood composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Nila t Madhab Panda is known to make socially relevant films that strike a chord with the audience like I am Kalam which was screened in Filem’On festival 2009.
