Kengah, a seagull, runs aground in the port of Hamburg after becoming entangled in oil spilled by an oil spill, in front of the cat Zorba. Before she dies, she lays an egg and wrenches from the cat the triple promise not to eat the egg, to look after the seagull that will hatch from it and to teach it how to fly.
This animated feature, an inventive and touching story, is from the hand of Enzo d’Alo, especially known from “The blue train” and “Pinocchio”. The film is based on a best-selling Chilean children’s book by Luis Sepúlveda and was granted multiple awards.
