Ady, a 13 years old boy, is really rebelling through his puberty… he won’t listen any longer to his father, who raised him alone in France. He’s lived there his whole life. His dad, running out of resources, decides to entrust Ady to his uncle Amadou for the summer. Uncle Amadou and his family live on the other side of the Mediterranean sea… in Burkina Faso! Here, at 13 years, boys are considered to have reached adulthood. But Ady, who was really looking forward to go on holidays, understands things differently. He’ll learn a lot on the way. Selected by many film festivals worldwide, Wallay has received the Young Audience Award by The European Film Academy 2018. Filem’On already showed the film in 2017, but since it won “Best youth film of the year”, it’s an honour to repeat the screening.
