The winner of the ECFA Short Film Competition is a beautiful coming of age story, that takes a nuanced look at the relationship between two siblings in the midst of a crucial time in their lives. The film shows their teen experiences during the family holidays and the emotional developments they both go through. The director explores recognizable themes such as summer love, jealousy, insecurity and accepting ourselves and others for who we really are. Supported by excellent acting and beautiful cinematography the film portrays layered characters
who convey a lot of emotion and meaning with sometimes very little, trusting its viewers to understand the hidden meaning within the silences. The filmmakers show that they take their
young audience seriously by consistently telling the story from a child’s perspective
