Dina’s ouders komen uit Marokko, maar zelf heeft ze dat land nog nooit bezocht. Daarom noemen mensen haar soms een ‘nep-Marokkaan’. Tijdens haar eerste reis naar het land van haar ouders ontdekt ze een wereld die zowel onbekend als vertrouwd aanvoelt.
