The International Film Festival for Young Audiences Filem’On is holding his 12th edition this year from the 24th of October until the 3rd of November 2018.  Like every year, within the framework of the festival, Filem’on organises a European Exchange to encourage professionals to reflect, discuss and exchange ideas in the field of films for young audiences. This year we will present our 5th Exchange with the main topic :

Language challenges in media literacy, film production and distribution for young audiences.

Part 1 : Presentations and debates for professionals with an interest in the production, distribution and programming of films for a young audience. - Morning of November 2nd

What are interesting distribution strategies for the national and transnational success of films for young audiences? How to engage children in watching foreign language films, and the role of minority languages in children's films.  

Part 2  Workshops for teachers and film programmers
- Afternoon of November 2nd

Inspiring hands-on examples of education through cinema, including ways to present and discuss films with children and young adolescents, including those with divers linguistic backgrounds.

At the end of September more details will be announced including the names of the guest speakers.  From that moment on you will be able to enroll in this event.
