The International children’s film festival Filem’On, which will take place from 1 to 8 November in Brussels, proudly announces its program to you!
Filem'On will be held for the 9th time this year in a wide range of cinema’s and other public spaces.

The program focuses on the young audience starting from 2 years old. There will be a selection of more than 100 films; from animation to fiction, documentaries, pre-premieres and classics. Furthermore film workshops and movie concerts will be taking place.

The central theme of this year will be color. Considering the current events, Filem’On wants to emphasize the social dimension of color: films of and about different cultures. We also dare to speak about difficult themes like war and exclusion!

The teen jury will judge the new films in the competition: 7 feature films in "competition Kids", 8 feature films in "competition Teens",  25 films for the “international short film competition", 7 films for the Belgian short film competition and finally another 6 films for "The Best of TV ". Many directors are present at the festival in order to present their film.

The complete program is now available online and as of today you can also apply for accreditation at: http://filemon.be

I hope to meet you there !

Hilde Steenssens - Director Filem'On
