The International Children’s Film Festival Filem’On, which will take place from the 30th of October until the 6th of November. celebrates its 10th anniversary this year in Brussels with a small program in Ghent.
The program focuses on the young audience starting from 2 years old with a selection of more than 140 films; from animation to fiction, documentaries, pre-premieres and classics. Furthermore film workshops and movie concerts will be taking place.
The 3th and 4th of November we welcome you for the Filem'On Exchange days for Professionals in Brussels.
The teen jury as well as the kids jury will each judge 6 feature films "in competition". The Belgian short film competition will be judged a week before the festival in collaboration with the schools in Brussels.
For the first time we proudly persent ourinternational children jury's: The competition Mundi which will be judged by the Russian Jury and the “International short film competition" which will be awarded by the German jury in collaboration with Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen. Many directors will be there to present their film.
