Filem’On Children’s Jury at the shortfilmfestival Oberhausen
4 children from age 10 to 11 years old were selected by Filem’On to participate as jurymembers in the shortfilmfestival Oberhausen. They will be hosted by the guestfamilies of the children’s jury of Oberhausen.

Filem’On participate for the YYA European Film Academy Awards
On Young Audience Film Day on the 8th of May, three nominated films will be screened to audiences of 12 to 14 year-olds in 27 countries across Europe. Filem’On, together with Bozar cinema, will particpate for the first time! The nominations were chosen by an international committee consisting of Melinda Boros (Clorofilm/Romania), Marjo Kovanen (Koulukino/Finland), Beata Marciniak (New Horizons Association/Poland), Marta Nieto Postigo (Drac Màgic/Spain) and Jakub Viktorin (Visegrad Film Forum/Slovakia).
Young Juries Across Europe Screen Nominees are :
GIRLS LOST (POJKARNA) Sweden/Finland by Alexandra-Therese Keining (104 Min.)
MISS IMPOSSIBLE (JAMAIS CONTENTE) France by Emilie Deleuze (90 Min.)

The 10th anniversary of Filem'On already around 3000 submissions...
Filem’On will tune in this year with trumpets, as Filem’On celebrates its 10th anniversary!
The international festival for children will take place in a wide range of cinemas and other public spaces from the 30th of October until the 6th of November in Brussels and Ghent. About 130 movies will be shown and besides that, a lot of creative workshops and many cinema concerts will be organized. Different jury panels consisting of children and teenagers will select the winners for the "Bella Brussella" among the movies in the competition, which movie directors will present.
The deadline is end of June.
