We are in 1916. 12-year-old Adama lives in a small village in West Africa. When Samba, his little brother, suddenly disappears, he decides to look for him. The search leads him to overseas countries, as far as Paris, where World War I is raging. The love for his little brother gives the journey an unexpected twist.
