Anton Sommer (Mathias Gnädinger’s last role on screen) is a grumpy old man and former champion of “Schwingen” – Swiss traditional wrestling. He lives in a suburb of Bern and does not find joy in life. He’s lonely. When he unintentionally travels to Japan with a half-Japanese boy and leaves Switzerland for the first time ever, he finds his way back to life… The movie was selected for Solothurner Filmtage 2016.
