Mike has been in the hospital for months and is anxious to go home. But when he is finally better, his mother does not come to pick him up. A nurse calls in Youth Care out of concern so that Mike can be placed in a foster family. Together with his roommate Vincent, who is in a wheelchair, he invents all kinds of ways to thwart the plans of Youth Care.
