Goshu, le violoncelliste

Isao Takahata

Not easy, being part of an orchestra when you don’t really have a musical ear…. Fortunately, as he prepares for the concert, Goshu receives one visit after another – from animals who will help him discover his musical self. Goshu the Cellist is a synthesis of animation, fairy tale and classical music. The small team at Ô-Production, initially specializing in short films, took six years to make the film. Today, in music schools in Japan, it is a classic that serves as a model for young student.
