A painter did not finish his painting. Time passes. The completely finished characters, the ‘Toupins’ (or ‘tout peints’, the fully painted), begin to feel better than those who still needed a final coat of color, the ‘Pafinis’ (or ‘pas finis’, the unfinished). And then there are the ‘Reufs’, from the English ‘roughs’,: those who unfortunately remained only a sketch. To avoid discord, a group of intrepid characters attempt to step out of the world of the painting, in search of the painter!
