One day 10-year-old Jojo takes a young jackdaw home with him. He keeps it hidden from his father Ronald, who doesn’t want animals in the house. Jojo is afraid of his aggressive tendencies and gets stuck between caring for the peacock and loyalty to his father, until the bomb bursts. This moving film won the prize for best debut film at the Berlinale.
