Jack has always wanted a little brother to play with, and when Gio is born, Jack’s parents tell him that his brother is a “special” child. From that point on, Gio becomes a superhero in Jack’s mind, endowed with incredible powers, just like in the comic books. Over time, however, Jack realizes that his little brother has actually Down syndrome, and he believes it’s a secret he should keep at all costs.
Inspired by a true story, Stefano Cipani’s feature film debut is a joyful and gripping family movie about the fear of being judged by others. This movie won the Young Audience Award 2020!
