Stupid young heart

Selma Vilhunen

An edgy, warm, but raw drama about suburban teenagers who unexpectedly have to deal with grown up problems of pregnancy, while extreme right ideas begin to encroach on their multicultural neighbourhood. Lenni and Kiira are in highschool, and couldn’t be more carefree. Not yet in a relationship, they discover that they are expecting a baby. Lenni has nine months to become a man. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the Toronto International Film Festival.
