The Eagle Huntress

Otto Bell

The Eagle Huntress follows Aisholpan, a 13-year-old girl, as she trains to become the first female of her Kazakh family to ever become an eagle hunter, a tradition that has been handed down from father to son for centuries. Set against the breathtaking Mongolian steppe, the film features the dramatic force of an epic narrative film. The movie was selected for Sundance, Telluride Filmfestival and TIFF Toronto in 2016.
