Frédéric Back

Two short films demonstrating Frédéric Back’s deep connection and respect for nature. He is known for his adaptation of Giono’s novel “The man who planted trees”, which was nominated in Cannes in 1987 and led to the planting of thousands of trees in France. Founded in Montreal in 1948, Back also expressed his dismay at the misuse of the St. Lawrence River as a shipping route by means of animated film. Preceded by a presentation.
