Tongue Cutters

Solveig Melkeraaen

Tongue cutters is a surprising documentary about Tobias and Ylva, two Norwegian children who earn an extra buck by working in the fish mines up North. In Olso, children aren’t allowed to work, but here they can and they take quite some pride in their task. A great feel good film that puts work and money in perspective, and explores the century old tradition. The movie was selected for Tromso Int’l Film Festival 2017.
