Fritzi, a revolutionary tale
1989. No one knows the Iron Curtain is about to fall, but Fritzi’s (12) best friend Sophie goes on vacation to Hungary. She had asked Fritzi to look after her dog Sputnik but instead of coming back to school after the summer, Sophie has immigrated to West Germany and Fritzi doesn’t know how to return the dog to Sophie. Thanks to her bravery and the miraculous way history unfolded, Fritzi finds her friend again. The film is based on the book “Fritzi war darbei” by Hanna Schott and Gerda Raidt.
