Zu weit weg
Little Ben and his entire family have to move to the nearby city from a small village. Ben meets Tariq, a Syrian refugee. He also had to leave his home. The two start out as competitors – but become friends. The village is being threatened by exploitation of a brown coal pit. In the city, Ben feels alone, but when he meets Tariq, he forgets his past. It’s all about football now, and winning! Despite their rivalry, Ben and Tariq discover they have more in common that they thought they would.
