Extra info

The provision of films with audio description is of increasing interest, among audiences, but also from governments and policymakers. Nevertheless, it is often still uncharted territory for distributors, producers and filmmakers. In this session, we delve deeper into the topic of audio description in film. What is it, how do you get started and how do you integrate it into your offer? This session brings together various interested parties, including audio description users to encourage collaborations! For producers and filmmakers there will be a workshop on audiodescription afterwards, guided by Open, the Centre of Expertise for Accessible Media and Culture of the University of Antwerp. https://www.opentoegankelijk.be/
